4-H clover Recognizing Grade 13 Isanti County 4-H'ers

We wanted to take time to recognize Isanti County 4-H'ers in their last year of the 4-H program. We asked them to send us their favorite 4-H memory and a photo. You can read those below!

Korbin K.

My favorite memory in 4-H was winning the Round Robin competition. Participating in this event was a lot of fun, and I got to showcase animals that I had never shown before. It was an amazing feeling to hear my name announced as the Grand Champion Showman. I owe a big thanks to my family for making my 4-H experience possible. I feel very fortunate to have been a part of this organization.

My favorite memory from the 10 years of being in 4-H is receiving my first state trip with my pony Taffy! During my very first year at fair I remember watching the kids who won state trips and hoping that would someday be me! The 4-H horse project will always be a special part of my life!

My favorite project has been Dairy Goats. I will greatly miss showing them at the Isanti County Fair and MN State Fair. Dairy Goats taught me hard work can be tiring, rewarding and fun at the same time. Another favorite thing about being in 4-H was B-BOP each year. It was great to get together with all my 4-H friends and make new ones too. My years as an Isanti County Ambassador also taught me things I will take with me after 4-H. My 4-H experience has been a joy and I will greatly miss it.
