Plant Sale hosted by the Stearns County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers

May 6, 2021

Plant Sale hosted by the Stearns County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers

The annual University of Minnesota Stearns County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers plant sale is back! The sale will take place on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 8:30-11:00am at St. Augustine’s Church parking lot, 442 2nd St SE, St. Cloud. The sale will be outdoors this year. You will be able to pay with credit card, check, or cash.

In addition to purchasing a wide variety of annual flowers, vegetables and perennials, attendees can seek advice from a number of experienced UMN Extension Master Gardener Volunteers. The Extension Master Gardeners
will provide tips on plant selection and planting. They can also help you trouble shoot any current issues you may be facing in your garden.

We will be following the University of Minnesota COVID-19 policies. Masking and social distancing will be enforced. There will be a set number of shoppers allowed into the shopping area at a time to ensure social distancing can be maintained. Single flow shopping will also be used to minimize risk. We appreciate your patience as we accommodate these requirements.

All proceeds support the efforts of the Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Program in Stearns County. Extension Master Gardener Volunteers educate the public about a variety of horticulture subjects using current research-based resources. This educational effort is designed to enhance quality of life and promote good stewardship of the environment. Extension Master Gardener Volunteers complete many hours of volunteer work each year, providing a valuable in-kind contribution to Minnesota. If you are interested in becoming a Stearns County Extension Master Gardener, you can call 320-255-6169 ext. 1 or email wins0115@umn.edu
