Murray County 4-Hers Tour Bioverse, Inc. and Cambridge Technologies

Slayton, Minn. (04/18/2023)— Most think of an Ag Tour as crops or livestock, Murray County 4-H toured two local companies that work within the Agricultural community in a different way.

38 youth and adults from Murray and Nobles County 4-H spent time learning with Bioverse and Cambridge Technologies staff to understand what each company produces and career paths for employees.

Bioverse® was initially started in 1995 as a research and development company that focused on creating safe and innovative ways to improve pond water quality by using microbials. After years of formulation, testing, and approvals, we introduced our first line of commercial products in 1999.

Cambridge Technologies uses Precision Vaccinology®, a combination of Next Generation Diagnostics and Quality Custom Manufacturing, to help veterinarians find solutions to herd health problems.

Youth were given hands on experience with microscopes, product packaging and labeling, as well as creating pond floats. They were also able to speak with numerous staff members from each company and ask questions related to Agriculture, education, career paths and different aspects of each position at Bioverse, Inc. and Cambridge Technologies.
