4-H clover Lincoln County 4-H day camps

Who:

Open to youth grades K-3 (2022-2023 school year)

What:

Steppin’ Outdoors- At this camp, your 4-Her will learn to engage in the outdoors in fun new ways! We’ll learn more about the natural world around us.

What’s Buggin’ You? - Join us to learn more about creepy, crawly critters! Don’t worry - we won’t be around actual bugs, but we will learn about how they eat, how they move, and how they live.

Take Flight - Birds, airplanes, kites, and more! Join us to learn about the basics of flying and create some awesome flying fun!

Junk Art - Use common household items and even junk to create beautiful art projects.

Hendricks day camps

  • June 15, 1:00 - 4:00 PM, Veterans Park Picnic Shelter, Steppin’ Outdoors
  • July 5, 1:00 - 4:00 PM, Veterans Park Picnic Shelter, Junk Art

Ivanhoe day camps

  • June 1, 1-4, Ivanhoe Community Center, Steppin’ Outdoors
  • June 8, 1-4, Ivanhoe Community Center, What’s Buggin’ You
  • June 22, 1-4, Ivanhoe Community Center, Take Flight
  • June 29, 1-4, Ivanhoe Community Center, Junk Art

Tyler day camps

  • June 21, 9:00 - Noon, Tyler Pool Park, Steppin’ Outdoors
  • July 12, 9:00 - Noon, Tyler Pool Park, Take Flight
  • August 8, 9:00 - Noon, Tyler Pool Park, Junk Art

Cost:

$5.00 per camper/camp. Payable day of the event.

*Registration is due 1 week prior to camp Contact the Extension Office at 507-694-1470 or email Michele VanDyke at mvandyke@umn.edu.

*Each camp is limited to the first 20 registered youth.

*Participants must enroll in Lincoln County 4-H. No further participation is expected or required.
