Meet our July Leader on the move-Kirby Olson. Kirby has been in the 4-H program for 8 years, beginning as a Cloverbud. Kirby has been actively involved in his club, the Eager Beavers 4-H Club, and has held numerous club officer positions. Kirby is currently serving as the 2020-2021 4-H Federation Activity Leader. Kirby is an active county ambassador and is a part of the Aquatic Robotics/ Aquatic Invasive Species Education Team. Kirby has been involved in numerous projects over the years including: Cloverbuds, Agronomy, Aquatic Robotics, Bicycle, Cat, Child/Family Development, Citizenship, Clothing and Textiles, Crafts and Fine Arts, Demonstrations, Dog, Electric, Engineering Design, Fishing Sports, Flower Gardening, Food and Nutrition, Geology, Illustrated Presentation, Livestock Interview, Goat, Photography, Plant and Soil Sciences, Shop, Shooting Sports, Vegetable Gardening and Wildlife/ Biology. Kirby’s favorite projects are Fishing Sports and Shooting Sports. Kirby is a 7th grader at Ortonville High School and the son of John and Carrie Olson of Ortonville.
