4-H clover Faribault County 4-H Welcomes New Educator

Faribault County Extension is proud to welcome their new Extension Educator for 4-H Youth Development, Emily Ovrebo.

Ovrebo was born and raised in Freeborn County, MN. She enjoyed growing up on a farm and made many memories by being involved in 4-H, where she was a junior leader and a Freeborn County Ambassador, held multiple club and county officer positions, and enjoyed showing swine and other projects at the county fair every year. She attended South Dakota State University, graduating with a B.S. in agriculture communications. During her college years, she worked as a 4-H summer intern in Freeborn County, where she learned more about the inner workings of the 4-H program and gained much experience.

A current resident of Wells, MN, Ovrebo stated, “I hope to bring new energy and excitement to the Faribault County 4-H program and I'm looking forward to meeting the 4-H families, volunteers and partners that are all involved.”
