The Federation has developed an exhibit incentive program for the 2022 County Fair static (non-livestock) exhibits.
All youth that exhibit a blue ribbon quality static project are eligible and will be put into a drawing based on grade level and the number of blue ribbon exhibits judged. The drawing will be held at the September Federation meeting and checks will be sent out as soon as possible after that. The prizes will be as follows:
Grades 3-5: 1-2 projects, $50; 3-4 projects, $100; 5 or more projects, $150.
Grades 6-8: 1-2 projects, $100; 3-4 projects, $150; 5 or more projects, $200.
Grades 9 and up: 1-2 projects, $150; 3-4 projects, $200; 5 or more projects, $250.
All 4-H youth are encouraged to exhibit static projects.
Never exhibited static projects before? The county will be hosting several county project days as well as more in depth project opportunities to assist in the development and hopefully completion of several projects through4-H out the year. Livestock project members, even if they are only signed up for livestock projects can always exhibit in the exploring animals project area. You can add/drop static projects up until county fair registration by simply making a note on your paperwork. The Federation also has a committee working on the exhibit building and its displays to be updated before next years’ fair.
