Faithe Rupprecht was recognized as the Winona 4-H Youth Representative for the month of September. She is the daughter of Kyle and Mandy Rupprecht, a member of the Altura Sky Rockets 4-H Club and a senior at Luther High School.
Faithe has served as the secretary, treasurer and vice president of her 4-H Club and exhibited in many different project areas including Food Preservation, Crafts and Fine Arts, Photography, Cat, Fairy Gardens & the Poultry project. Faithe has participated in Adopt a Highway with her 4-H Club, the Winona County Fair and MN State Fair, BLU Workshop (Building Leadership and Understanding) and 4-H Officer Training.
Faithe’s greatest accomplishment in 4-H was the photograph she had taken as a previous county fair exhibit and turned it into a painting that she exhibited in 2021. She was awarded a trip to the MN State Fair and received a blue ribbon. Faithe says throughout her time in 4-H she has learned how to conduct a meeting, to talk confidently in front of many people, how to be resourceful and how to make delicious jams.
Winona Sunrisers Kiwanis Club honors one outstanding Winona County 4-H member during its breakfast meeting the fourth Wednesday of each month. The club meets on a weekly basis every Wednesday at 7 a.m. at the Winona Family Restaurant in Winona.
