4-H clover Carver County 4-H Awards

Key Award

The 4-H Key Award recognizes youth for contributions to their club and their community, and encourages youth to grow as an outstanding citizen.  The 4-H Key Award is the highest honor of achievement in the 4-H program - available only to those members who have shown long-term dedication and growth.

To be eligible for the 4-H Key Award, youth must have completed their sophomore year of high school, participated in 4-H for at least five years and have met several leadership criteria. Only one youth in Carver County receives this award each year. Fill out application and return to 4-H Office by Oct. 2.

Pat on the Back Award

The Pat On The Back Award is presented to outstanding 4-H volunteers who have shown dedication and leadership to positive youth development through county and state 4-H programming.  This award has been given to 4-H volunteers that have gone above and beyond to ensure that county programs and youth are experience quality 4-H programming.  Nominated volunteers could have had an impact on both large and small groups. Nominations will close Oct. 2.

Friend of 4-H

The Friend of 4-H Award is presented to outstanding 4-H business supporters who have demonstrated a commitment to the sustainability of Carver County 4-H programming. The support can be shown through time, dollars, community advocacy and more! Nominate a business by Oct. 2.

 

Awards winners will be announced at the 2023 annual Recognition Banquet on TBD
