Apply to be a 4-H Camp Counselor at Camp Patterson Today!
Camp Counselor and Junior Camp Counselor applications are now available for youth in grades 7 and over.
Serving as a camp counselor is a key leadership activity for many 4-H youth. Camp counselors learn important leadership skills like persistence and teamwork, develop long-lasting relationships, and learn how to respond in a variety of scenarios. Camp counselors support younger youth (who have completed 3rd-6th grades) in learning and help them have an affirming and fun experience.
Why are camp counselors important?
Counselors are the heart of 4-H summer camp! Counselors provide active, hands-on fun and cooperative outdoor programming, lead cabin activities, and supervise all aspects of the campers’ day. Selected camp counselors plan camp and receive required counselor training through the planning process.
If you are in 7th grade or above and would like to have an opportunity to utilize your leadership skills this summer, make friends and work with youth… then we need you as a camp counselor! Please complete the relevant camp counselor application via the links below.
