On May 15, ID’s are due for beef, dairy, dairy goat, dog, horse, llama-alpaca, meat goat, poultry, rabbit, sheep and swine. This means, you have secured any tags needed from the 4-H office and entered your information in 4-H Online by this date. All 4-H livestock (excluding market beef) must be identified by the statewide May 15 ID deadline. This is a firm deadline. Animals ID’d after this date may not be eligible for placings above a blue ribbon.
Complete details for animal ID requirements for all species are available on the MN 4-H Animal ID Information website.
Contact Anna Gilbertson ASAP if you are in need of a tag. If you need help in completing your animal ID, contact Kim Ferguson.
