Each fall, the Minnesota 4-H Youth Development Program invites volunteers to attend a special training on current topics in youth development. Our 2023 Minnesota 4-H Annual Volunteer Training focuses on learning as adventure and how volunteers can create the context for youth to grow their learning comfort zones. Current and prospective Minnesota 4-H volunteers and youth leaders are welcomed to attend this 75-minute session. Please arrange for at least 2 people (youth and/or adult) from your club to attend this training. Join us to learn practical activities and tools for supporting young people in managing stress, stepping into new experiences with courage and taking ownership of their learning.
In 2023, Becker County is offering one countywide session in-person:
- Monday, October 30 at 6 p.m.
As a Minnesota 4-H volunteer you build youth self-esteem, encourage youth leadership and inspire youth community service. Thank you for all that you do to create a caring environment that encourages youth to take on new challenges.
