Reminder: MAY 15 - ANIMAL ID DEADLINE in 4HONLINE. ALL Roseau County 4-H youth planning to show horses or livestock animals at the 4-H project showcase at the fair must own, have tagged or tattooed and identified animals by May 15, 2023.

Official MN 4-H Ear Tags are needed for showing beef, sheep, swine, & meat goat projects. Request your needed 4-H ear tags and tagger by calling (218-463-1052) and talking to a staff member at least one day prior to picking up at the UMN Extension/Roseau County 4-H Office. There are taggers available for you to check out and use as well. This requires a $25 deposit which is returned to you upon return of tagger. Return the tagger as soon as possible or within a couple days. All chickens, turkeys, & game birds need a numbered leg or wing band. Leg bands available at the Extension office.

- Livestock Quality Assurance Training Options: Reminder to all youth that are hoping to participate as a state fair 4-H Minnesota livestock exhibitor (Gr. 6 and above) in beef, dairy, sheep, swine, poultry, rabbits, meat goat and dairy goat must complete livestock quality assurance training prior to county fair. Visit the Minnesota 4-H website for more LQAE details.

- 1. A three-hour in-person workshop (LQAE) including ethics. Valid for three years.
