4-H clover 4-H Animal ID deadline is approaching

March 24, 2023

Martin County 4-H members planning to exhibit animals at the 2023 Martin County Fair must have their animals entered in 4-H Online by May 15, 2023.

Read through the Martin County animal ID letter for instructions on how to ID your animal science project.

We will again have the Martin County Born & Raised market swine classes. These animals MUST be ID’ed in 4HOnline by the May 15 deadline. The vet affidavit is due to the Martin County Extension office ASAP, but no later than swine check-in at the 2023 Martin County Fair.

There is still time to apply to a variety of livestock programs, designed to give members a low-cost way to try a new animal science project. Please contact the office with any questions.

If you are unable to enter your animal(s) online, please bring a copy of your completed animal ID worksheet(s) to the Martin County 4-H Office (1300 N Bixby Road, Fairmont) by 5:00 p.m. on May 15. Copies of the animal ID worksheets can also be picked up at the office.

Any questions regarding animal ID and/or 4-H should be directed to Martin County Extension/4-H at mnext-martin@umn.edu or 507-235-3341.
