On Saturday, March 18, all 4-H youth are invited to attend a sewing workshop at the Rice County 4-H Building from 9-11 am. Cloverbuds should have an older person stay with them as a helper. Participants will learn how to create a bag! Youth are encouraged to bring a sewing machine threaded with medium blue thread. Suggestions include having a new medium needle. Example: a Schmitz 80/20 needle. Scissors, pins, seam ripper and tape measure are also needed. You are also encouraged to bring the manual for your machine if you have it. Material will be provided. All parents are welcome to stay, help and learn alongside their youth. There is a sample in the office if you would like to see the bag in person.
