2023 - 2024 Sibley County 4-H Meetings

All meetings are held at the Sibley  County Service Center located at 111 8th St, Gaylord, MN  55334.  Meeting dates are subject to change.

Sibley County 4-H Federation

Federation is the overall governing body of the Sibley County 4-H Program.  They oversee all of the financials, make decisions on events and programming opportunities for our youth, develop guidelines, promote youth in learning and leadership exploration, and more!

These meetings are open for all 4-H families to attend.

Sibley County 4-H Leaders Council

Council consists of the 6 elected county youth officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Reporter, Historian), the Adult Federation Treasurer , and  Adult Federation Advisors and Club Key leaders.  They meet to discuss program direction, events, activities and issues that will help to build and strengthen the county 4-H program.  The Council is an advisory committee that makes recommendations to the federation on programming, fundraising, and other business items.

Advisors are elected for 2 year terms.  The county clubs are divided into the East end and West end.  2 advisors are elected from each end every other year.
East End: Arlington Conquerors, High Island Clovers, Rush River Rushers
West End: Blazin' West Stars, Good Cheer, Transit Trailblazers, Weeping Willows

Food Stand Committee

This group works to help make our 4-H Food Stand run smoothly during the fair.  They work very closely with our food stand managers to secure item donations, decide menu and item pricing, equipment maintenance and upgrade needs, and more!  They typically meet in March, May, and September prior to the federation meetings, and if needed in July.

Project Development Committee

This committee's meetings are open to any 4-H livestock family to meet and plan for the County Fair.  Discussion can range from choosing judges, to premium book changes, policy issues, and process changes.  They typically meet in February, April, and September.

• September 9, 2024 @ 7:00 PM     

Auction Committee

This committee meetings are open to any 4-H family that has participated in the Sibley County 4-H Ribbon Auction held during the County Fair.  They typically meet several times during the year to make any recommendations in changes for the next year, to be approved by the Federation.
