Growing Up Resilient webinar

Are you a parent, someone who works with parents, or someone with important youth in your life? Have you ever wondered how you could help those kids in your life be resilient when they encounter life's challenges? Do you want these growing youth to be able to withstand or overcome difficult times or choices? If so, then the Growing Up Resilient webinar is for you!

About this webinar

Vickie Abel is a mom of three and worked as a social worker for decades. Currently, she is the director of organizational excellence at the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center.

In this webinar, Vickie addresses:

  • What resiliency is.

  • How we can build resiliency in our children (infants through young adults).

  • Some example of resiliency in action.

This webinar was presented in August 2013 and is available on this website as a recording. It will take about an hour to complete. A certificate of completion is available after completion.
