Annie's Project

A woman stands outside of a goat pen with two goats and pets on of the goats.

Annie's Project is a series of six workshops for farmers and ranchers looking to understand management and decision-making topics as they relate to a farming operation. Annie's Project is designed to empower farm businesses in today's complex, dynamic world of agriculture.

Our six-week risk management education series covers the business of farming and ranching including the five key areas of risk management: financial, human resource, legal, marketing and production risks.

Participants will gain knowledge of business plans, financial documents, human resource issues, property titles, marketing plans, retirement and estate planning, cash and crop share leases, and types of insurance. In addition to these topics, participants will be connected with speakers from various agricultural agencies, organizations, businesses and fellow farmers.
