Farm to School Month

October is National Farm to School Month, a time to celebrate connections all over the country between schools and local food. Whether you are a foodservice professional, a farmer, a teacher, or a food-loving family, you can celebrate and get involved.

Why register? We want to track the impact of MN Thursdays and the Great Lakes Great Apple Crunch across Minnesota and want to amplify the message that schools, early care and education sites, hospitals, and other organizations care about supporting Minnesota agriculture, farmers and farmworkers.

Apply for a AGRI Farm to School grant today

Deadline: November 1, 2018

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture will award up to $377,500 to eligible institutions to increase the use of Minnesota grown and raised foods through planning and feasibility studies, or equipment purchases and physical improvements.
