It’s time to dig in, get curious and grow something amazing — 4-H Science Sprouts returns this winter!
Get ready to grow, explore and have fun as we dive into the world of microgreens, pinecones and bulbs.
Designed for young scientists in grades 3–5, this engaging online series invites youth to explore the fascinating world of plant science through three 30-minute interactive sessions, held monthly on the following Mondays from 5:30 to 6 p.m.: Jan. 26, Feb. 23 and March 23.
Throughout the series, we’ll discover the surprising ways plants grow and change. Each session features hands-on activities that blend science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) concepts with plant science, helping youth uncover creative ways to grow plants—no backyard required.
Families who register by Jan. 19 will receive a special 4-H Science Sprouts kit filled with materials to support the activities throughout the series. These take-home resources encourage continued exploration and make it easy for youth to grow along with each session.
