Elder family financial exploitation (EFFE) is one of the most prevalent types of elder abuse and impacts approximately one in 15 older adults and their families worldwide. This webinar will address the complexity and realities of EFFE, critical conversations to prevent EFFE, resources to learn more and how to reach out for help.
Sam Roth is a University of Minnesota Extension financial capability educator for Scott and Carver Counties. She is an accredited financial counselor and has extensive experience teaching individuals and families about critical life skills and decision making.
Sara Croymans is a University of Minnesota Extension educator in family resiliency with experience teaching individuals, families and organizations financial capability information and skills. She is an accredited financial counselor with experience providing financial counseling with military service members and individuals with gambling addictions.
