Come and join Camarie from RodeoKids and other horse project members for two days filled with fun and lots of learning. We will be hosting a Horse Riding Clinic on June 13th & 14th at the Waseca County Fairgrounds. Each day will have different topics and opportunities, so please join us for both sessions. This clinic is for all 4-H youth in grades 3 and up. We highly encourage both younger and older youth to attend to gain lots of great riding tips and techniques.
Camarie is very well-rounded with horsemanship and will be able to give specific tips and suggestions to help each rider individually during this clinic. Topics will include ride technique and horsemanship. "As a small town Iowa girl who only had one other "rodeo" friend within a 60 mile radius growing up, she wanted to create a place where youth who lived in areas isolated from western culture to be able to connect with their peers, learn, and ask questions. RodeoKids was then founded with a website launch in the fall of 2019. Their mission? To empower youth to be the best versions of themselves and to unlock the full potential of our youth to become community leaders and carry on the traditions of western life into the future."
