Each date will include learning about horses and riding skill practice! You bring your horse, your boots, and your helmet and our project leaders will have some practice drills ready for you! FREE to any enrolled 4-H Member

Participation Requirements

All youth must wear closed-toe shoes with a heel (boots), jeans (leggings are not acceptable), and a t-shirt (no crop-tops). A sweatshirt or light jacket is strongly suggested. Appropriate attire for working with and around animals is mandatory. Helmets will be provided, or youth can bring their own. All youth participating in mounted activities are required to wear properly fastened ASTM/SEI approved protective headgear with chin strap. Helmet use is required when mounted.
