4-H clover Shooting Sports & Wildlife Training Session 1-10 - Kanabec County 4-H

Air Rifle, Air Pistol & BB Gun Training 

 

This beginner program focuses on safety and proper shooting technique and is required for advancement to our summer shooting program.    This program will run on Mondays from March 22 - May 24.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, class size is limited and pre-registration is required.  Parents/guardians are asked to walk their participants into the building for check-in, but will not be permitted to stay.        

Details

  • Youth must be enrolled in 4-H prior to attending -  https://z.umn.edu/enrollment
  • Instructors are Minnesota 4-H volunteers, certified to coach the rifle/pistol disciplines.  
  • All equipment and course materials are provided.  Personal equipment (except safety glasses) will not be permitted. 
  • Our summer air gun program will be held on Thursday evening’s beginning June 3rd.
  • COVID-19 protocols will be enforced.  Face masks are required.   
  • This program is required for youth grade 7+ who want to participate in our .22 rifle program and recommended for youth grades 7+ wanting to participate in our black powder program.   

Audience

  • BB Gun – Grades 3+
  • Air Rifle & Air Pistol – Grade 4+

Cost

$15 payable to Kanabec County 4-H – 18 North Vine Street, Suite 291, Mora, MN 55051
