4-H clover Sherburne County 4-H ATV training

Minnesota 4-H is excited to offer All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) certification safety training to youth in grades 4 and up who are at least 10 years old. Youth who complete this training will receive their Minnesota DNR ATV Safety Certificate.

Training components

  • Complete the online Minnesota ATV safety education course. The cost is $34.95. 
  • After completing the online training course, print your ATV Safety Training voucher.
  • Attend in-person training on May 30.

Requirements

You must complete the online Minnesota ATV safety education course and bring the following:

  • A printed copy of the online ATV Safety Training voucher.
  • A copy of your birth certificate.
  • Safety gear, including boots, pants and long sleeves. Participants will need to provide their own gloves, helmet and eye protection.
  • Participants without safety gear will not be allowed to participate and will not receive their Minnesota DNR ATV Safety Certificate.

Audience

4-H’ers grades 4 and up and at least 10 years old.

Cost

Free, but the pre-requisite Minnesota ATV Safety Education Course has a cost.

Registration

  • Register by May 23 in 4-H Online.
  • Register early as there is a maximum capacity of 28 participants.
