It seems like young children are always moving! With the increased use of technology, not all children are moving as much as they should.
In this webinar, you will learn about the benefits of keeping young children active and learn simple and fun ways for children to move their bodies.
Mary Schroeder and Jimmie Johnson are University of Minnesota Extension health and nutrition educators. Mary’s work focuses on creating healthy food environments for children and youth through policy, system and environmental changes. Recent projects include developing a culinary nutrition education curriculum for family childcare providers and providing pieces of training for school food service staff. Jimmie’s work encourages people to move their bodies and supports physical education teachers to promote lifelong movement.
