The Minnesota picnic and barbecue season offers opportunities for outdoor fun with family and friends. In this session, you will learn how to prevent unwanted guests (foodborne illness-causing bacteria) from crashing your summer events by following safe food transportation, cooking and holding tips.
Amy Johnston is a food safety educator at the University of Minnesota Extension. She develops food safety programming and provides education across the state to empower all Minnesotans to make informed food safety decisions. Amy earned a bachelor of science degree in dietetics and a master’s in public health nutrition. Prior to joining Extension, she managed healthcare and senior living food service and nutrition operations.

Registration is required. The webinar will take place on Zoom.
