Horse and rider pole weaving competition at county fair

The Pine County 4-H Horse PDC offers Ride Nights for all 4-H horse project members interested in learning and growing their skill-set. This is a great opportunity to try new events under the guidance of our volunteers, clinicians and fellow 4-H members.

Clinic Information

Clinic will start at 6:30 p.m. sharp. Please arrive by 6:00 p.m. to have your horse tacked, warmed up and ready to go.

Youth must be currently enrolled 4-H members and be able to show proof of negative Coggins test in order to participate in this activity. Helmets are mandatory. All horses must meet the animal identification requirements of Minnesota 4-H prior to participation at any 4-H event, including Ride Nights.

All Minnesota 4-H Horse rules will be followed.  All riders must wear proper riding boots, long pants, long sleeves and an ASTM/SEI approved helmet.

Weather note

In the event of severe summer weather or heat, the clinic will be rescheduled for the next day (Thursday).
