Youth enrolled in the 4-H horse project are invited to compete in barrels, jumping figure 8, poles, and keyhole. 

  • Event is a double header. Each event is run twice!
  • Top 5 will receive ribbons for each event.
  • Top 5 overall point leaders qualify for prizes. First place is a Buckle!
  • Enter through the North gate only (on Wright St).
  • Gates open at 7:00 a.m.
  • No sharing of horses.
  • Order of the show: Barrels, Jumping Figure 8, Poles, Keyhole.
  • NO Concessions on site.

Audience

  • Enrolled 4-H youth in grades 3+
  • All horses must be ID'd
  • Current Coggins must be uploaded in 4-H Online
  • All 4-H rules apply

Cost - entry fee

  • $40 per rider/horse combination
  • Make check payable to Northern Reins 4-H Horse Club
  • Mail to: Amy DeGroot, 5245 Hidden Acres Rd., Pequot Lakes, MN 56472

Cost - stalling and camping

  • Stalling (optional): $10.00 (bring own shavings) - must clean out before leaving
  • Camping (optional): Electrical - $27 per night, Non-electric - $17 per night

  • Stalling and camping paid at event to Crow Wing County Fairgrounds
