New and seasoned 4-H riders are invited to improve their horse drill team skills at the Minnesota 4-H Drill Team Camp. Youth will have the opportunity to improve their horsemanship skills, riding techniques, team building, drill routine creation and execution, and leadership roles.
Youth will work together to determine their strengths, weaknesses, and goals to become the best riders, teammates, and 4-H'ers possible. So get ready to create endless memories while learning and having fun!

Please bring
- Your own or leased horse. This is required, as horses will not be provided at this event. All horses must be ID'd and have current Coggins uploaded into 4-H Online.
- Please don't bring a horse to camp that is lame, uncontrollable or sick.
- Flags, pole and legal flag holder to camp if you have them. We will be working with flags throughout the camp.
- Supplies to clean out your stalls during the event and before you leave.
Schedule
The camp will take place June 24-26.
Check-in is on Monday, June 24, 8-9:45 a.m. Check-in is required before unloading horses. You may arrive and check in on Sunday, June 23, 6-9 p.m.
Camping
You can camp onsite.
- Electrical camping is $27.
- Non-electric camping is $17.
Camping fee will be paid when arriving at the fairgrounds. Make checks payable to "Crow Wing County Fair."
Audience
- Enrolled 4-H members who have completed grades 6 and up can participate.
- Spectators, 4-H’ers, 4-H adult volunteer leaders, parents, etc., are welcome at a fee.
Cost
- $130 to participate
- This includes camp for three days, a stall, two bags of shavings and a T-shirt. Bring additional shavings if needed.
- $10 to be a spectator for the three days - payable at the door.
