Minnesota 4-H Celebration of Agriculture
Saturday, February 23
Join us to hear from two distinguished 4-H Alumni about their experiences, how 4-H shaped their future and their continued connections with youth and agricultural programs at the University of Minnesota.
For over 100 years, Minnesota 4-H has educated young people about agriculture thru our Animal Science and Agriculture programs. Currently, we have nearly 45,000 active youth in these programs. We invite you to join us to recognize and celebrate the links between 4-H and Minnesota agriculture.
The agriculture and food industries stand as the second largest employers in the state. This bedrock to the state’s economy and culture will be the focal point of the Minnesota 4-H Celebration of Agriculture.
Host of 4-H at the Fair, Pioneer Public Television
Dakota County 4-H Alum
Libby’s heart is deeply rooted in 4-H and agriculture. Her 4-H dairy and leadership experiences in Dakota County led to her election as State 4-H Federation president, and she also served as a Minnesota State 4-H Ambassador. A University of Minnesota alumna in agricultural industries and marketing, Libby has also done master’s work in landscaping design and horticulture. She and her husband, Todd, own Boulder Images, a landscaping firm, and have two children who plan to start their own 4-H club this year. Libby hosts an annual documentary on how 4-H builds leaders and changes lives.
