Learn important life skills through safe and educational experiences. You'll explore firearms safety and the importance of conserving Minnesota's natural resources. Trained and certified 4-H leaders throughout Minnesota lead this program. You will learn ethics, sportsmanship, responsibility, leadership skills, safe storage and handling of firearms and archery equipment.
Trap(Shotgun, Grades 7+) begins April 24th at MN Sportsman Club, Zimmerman. Beginning May 1st, Trap training will take place at the Rum River Gun Club, Princeton. All trap trainings will be from 2 - 4 p.m. Youth must have their own gun and ammunition.
Archery (Grades 3+) begins May 10th at the Mille Lacs County Fairgrounds from 6 - 8 p.m. We will provide supplies.
BB Gun (Grades 3+), Air Rifle/Pistol (Grades 4+) and .22 Rifle and .22 Pistol (Grades 7+) begin May 15th at the fairgrounds. This training will go from 6 - 8 p.m. We will provide supplies.
No Archery June 14th. No Air on June 16th.
Grades 3+ that are enrolled in Shooting Sports.
Archery & Air: $10
Trap: $50
