Join this discussion to learn how you can become a social justice advocate for your clients. As part of the 2022 Military Family Readiness Academy series, Family Well-Being: Navigating the Social Justice Landscape, this interactive discussion will address comments and questions around social justice issues brought to the session by participants. Panelists will also discuss how social injustice manifests itself as social services are delivered.
Each course will offer continuing education credit from various credentialing agencies.
Shawn O’Neal is a Ph.D. Candidate and Ph.D. Fellowship at the University Colorado Boulder in the Ethnic Studies Department. He is the course author of the first course of the 2022 Academy Series.
Jennifer Ho is the director of the Center for Humanities & the Arts at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she also holds an appointment as a Professor of Ethnic Studies.
Allison De Marco is an advanced research scientist at Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute and adjunct faculty at the School of Social Work at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
L. Christopher Plein, is a Professor of Public Administration and Eberly Professor of Outstanding Public Service at West Virginia University.
