Managing grape bunch rots

Wednesday, July 15, 2020

grape sour rot

Harvest season will be here before we know it! Make sure you defend your vineyard against bunch rots from now until harvest.

  • Megan Hall from the University of Missouri will be discussing the differences between harvest-time grape bunch rots like sour rot and botrytis, and how to best manage them in your vineyard.
  • Annie Klodd will discuss how to spot bunch stem necrosis, a physical disorder that is often mistaken for other diseases.

This webinar is co-hosted by UMN Extension and UW-Madison Extension.

Megan Hall is an assistant research professor at the University of Missouri. She has a viticulture research appointment in a collaborative partnership between the Grape and Wine Institute (GWI) and the Division of Plant Sciences.
