Joseph Rand, Extension educator

Let’s Talk about Gender Identity is a five-session series designed to provide a safe place for youth to have important conversations about gender identity. This series demonstrates to LGBTQ+ youth that they are valued and welcomed by 4-H. And it gives all youth the tools to be supportive and effective allies.

Session highlights include gender identity basics, a panel of LGBTQ+ and ally 4-H alumni, and tools to interrupt harassment and bias.

Online sessions will take place at the end of January and beginning of February on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m.,  Jan. 25, 27, and Feb. 1, 3, 8, and 10 (just in case date).

New to 4-H? Need help registering? Participants must first be enrolled (no participation commitment is required beyond this event).  Register to attend through 4-H online by January 24. Limited to 20 participants. This tip sheet can help you with the process.
