Sherburne 4-H has a variety of project kits available and each kit has a virtual session you can join to learn even more. In this session, your mission is to transform unused bare land into a beautiful blooming landscape. Learn new ways to secretly serve your community by beautifying public spaces. Use your project kit to make a variety of seed bombs you can plant in your area.  Kits will be available beginning June 1 at Becker and Big Lake libraries or the Sherburne County Extension office. Sessions June 15, 6-7 p.m.: Seed bombs and guerilla gardening June 24, 4-5 p.m.: True colors: Natural and artificial dyes with the color wheel June 29, 6-7 p.m.: Take a hike July 29, 4-5 p.m.: Bird friends: Birdwatching and DIY birdfeeder Aug. 19, 6-7 p.m.: Blow it! Straw painting Sept. 2, 6-7 p.m.: Calm your mind: DIY sensory jars and journal America/Chicago public

Audience

Youth who have completed grades K-5 in Sherburne, Mille Lacs, Benton, Wright, Anoka, Stearns, Hennepin and Isanti Counties.

Registration

Registration deadline is one week prior to each virtual session. For help with registration, use this guide or contact Kellie Bossen at kbossen@umn.edu.

If you are new to 4-H, please select the “Virtual 4-H” club for your county. In the projects field, choose "self-determined" and any other relevant project areas you have an interest in.

Register a week before the session in order to receive your supplies in time.
