Kanabec and Pine County 4-H are hosting a LQA&E training event. All 4-H youth in grades 6+ planning to participate at the Minnesota State Fair or Northeast Livestock Show as a livestock exhibitor (beef, dairy, sheep, swine, poultry, rabbit, meat and dairy goat, and llama/alpaca) must complete Livestock Quality Assurance and Ethics Training. Training will cover Levels I and II and youth attending will be certified for three fair seasons.
When: Wednesday, June 6
Time: 5 to 8 p.m.
Where: Pine County Courthouse, 635 Northridge Drive NW, Pine City, MN
A light supper will be served
Note: If you have youth in grades 4-5 as well as grades 6+, all youth in your family may attend to stay on the same training cycle.
