Youth with five years or less of livestock showing experience are invited to the June 4-H livestock workshop on Tuesday, June 27. Freeborn County will be hosting this workshop focusing on sheep, goat and swine with topics on showmanship, clipping, feeding and show ring tips.
Staff and volunteers will use University of Minnesota content to teach project-specific skills with sheep, swine and goats. We hope youth will use the skills they learn to prepare and show an animal project at the county fair showcase.
If you're interested in other species, please talk to Amy or Lexie to see if they can be added to the agenda. Youth and adult help is welcomed. If you are interested in helping, let us know.
