Youth will be able to learn about crop scouting, careers related to crop scouting and the state crop scouting event. Youth will also learn how to scout for problems and learn about possible solutions and strategies. Scouting, identification and management strategies for diseases, insects, and weeds common to Minnesota crops. How to gather information and solve problems. How to demonstrate knowledge of crop scouting and IPM principles in a competitive event. How to obtain knowledge and skills that will be helpful in future careers related to agri-science and environmental science. Registration  will take place in 4-H Online.  Deadline is June 10.  For assistance with registration, please refer to the event registration guide or contact Kim  Stehr at winge109@umn.edu.

If you are new to 4-H, please select the "In Person Camp/Event" club for your county.  In the projects field, choose "crop sciences" and any other project areas you have an interest in.
