Learn about the latest in dairy nutrition and management at the annual Four-State Dairy Nutrition and Management Conference. This is a collaborative effort between the Extension services of Iowa State University, the University of Illinois, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Wisconsin.

See the pre-conference, main conference, and post-conference agendas on the Four State Dairy site.

Main conference

The main conference kicks off with a focus on "Finding the next 5 pounds of milk" with Barry Bradford (Michigan State University) and a data-driven look at feed efficiency with Francisco Penagaricano (University of Wisconsin).

The High Component Award recognizes the highest three component herds in the four-state region. The top three winning farmers will participate in a featured panel discussion to share the management strategies behind their elite production levels.

The June 4 plenary session will focus on high-oleic soybeans (HO), featuring Paul Kononoff (University of Nebraska) presenting on how HO beans fit in ration models.
