Financial Educator Certificate Program

The Financial Educator Certificate Program equips community-based professionals with knowledge and skills to work with people to manage financial resources, build financial assets, and improve financial health and well-being. The online course covers core financial concepts of earning, spending, saving, borrowing, and protecting as well as an overview of financial behavior theory, financial education delivery methods, ethics, and program evaluation.

This is a synchronous online course, meaning participants will be taking it along with a cohort of peers whom are all learning the same concepts at the same time.

The certificate will be granted upon the successful completion of all requirements of the program, including:

  • Completion of all assignments.
  • Active participation in online discussions and chats.
  • Achievement of at least 80 percent on each of the Check Your Knowledge quizzes.
  • Completion of Capstone Project.

  • September 13, 2021 - April 18, 2022
  • Registration opens on May 10, 2021
