Farm and land transition series: Without a successor

Join farm and land transition professionals for educational information on farm and land transition topics on Thursdays, starting November 5, 2020, through January 21, 2021,  noon to 1:00 p.m.

We'll highlight a different topic each week, from goal setting to family communication, estate planning, retirement planning, and more. Following the 30 minute presentations, there will be a Q&A session and participants will receive a follow-up email with additional resources.

January 21: What to do without an heir

This week we'll talk about options for farmers and landowners who haven't identified their successor. We'll also discuss how to assess the options available to landowners and farmers who haven’t identified an heir and how to identify possible successors whose goals align with the retiring generation.
