Composting fills this void; however, most horse owners and professionals are unfamiliar with equine carcass composting. This Field Day represents an opportunity for equine professionals to learn about equine carcass composting and see finished compost piles. Due to COVID-19, the Field Day is limited to 20 participants, will be fully held outdoors, and social distancing and face masks are encouraged. In the case of inclement weather, the field day will be canceled.
