The Leaders Community (TLC) gives leaders the “TLC” they need to build resilience and refuel themselves to face today’s challenges. TLC is a place to grow your leadership capacity while also creating the connections and gaining the confidence you need to thrive.  Join the TLC as we dive into Emotional Intelligence: 2021’s Essential skill. The past year has left many of us exhausted, struggling and frustrated. As leaders, how do we hold space for our tired teams when we, too, feel burned out? Emotional intelligence helps us understand our own emotions and the emotions of those around us. As a leader, it’s key to leading with compassion, navigating critical conversations, and building resilience. As we move past the pandemic, cultivating a way forward with specific strategies to create greater connections is critical. About the course This four-week intensive exploration of emotional intelligence will help you find ways to become a more mindful leader as you refuel your own energy as well as that of others. The course includes an EQ-i 2.0® assessment, a one-to-one debrief, and four weekly group sessions — all of which will help you increase self-awareness and identify specific areas of emotional intelligence to grow and become a more effective community leader. The EQ-i 2.0® assessment measures your emotional intelligence around 15 competencies grouped into five composites: Self-perception Self-expression Interpersonal Decision making Stress management You'll receive an individualized EQ-i 2.0® Leadership Report that will help you learn how emotional intelligence impacts your ability to lead through four dimensions of leadership: Authenticity Coaching Insight Innovation The EQ-i 2.0® Leadership Report will compare your results against those of top leaders.  America/Chicago public

Cost

$250 — Special spring 2021 price (regular rate is $450)

Registration

Your registration includes:

  • A personal EQ-i 2.0® Leadership Report
  • A one-to-one debrief with a certified EQ-i Assessor
  • Access to four Zoom training sessions (Wednesdays on May 12, May 19, May 26 and June 2)

After you register, you will receive a code to take the assessment. You will be prompted to complete the assessment prior to the first session. Results will be shared with you and a one-to-one debrief session will be scheduled as part of the first session.

The deadline for registration is Tuesday, May 11.
