4-H clover Dakota County Reusable Fabric Gift Bag and Scrunchie Sewing Workshop

At this hands-on beginner sewing workshop you will make a reusable fabric gift bag and hair scrunchie.  This workshop is perfect for those interested in learning simple sewing or how to use a sewing machine.  Workshop fee includes fabric kit.  A limited number of sewing machines are available to use at class. Indicate during registration if you need to borrow a machine for class.

Audience

Dakota County 4-H members, grade 3+; must be enrolled in 4-H Online.

Cost

$5; includes fabric kit. Send fee to Dakota County 4-H, Attn: Gift bag workshop, 4100 220th St. W., #101, Farmington, MN 55024. Checks payable to Dakota County 4-H.

Registration

Register by Monday, Nov. 27 through your 4-H Online account. 

  • If you have a family account in 4-H Online, login and then click on Events on the left side of the screen
  • If you are new to 4-H, you'll need to set up an account. Creating an account does not require commitment for future participation. Select "In-person 4-H Camp/Event-Dakota County" for Club and projects of interest.  Once your account is approved, view the 4-H Online event registration guide for help in registering for the event.
