Learn about the latest University of Minnesota cover crop research on seeding rates and termination timing, interactions with pathogens, impacts on soil erosion, interseeding, landscape implications, cover crops for grazing and pollinators, and camelina research.
Check-in starts at 8:30 a.m. The field tour will leave promptly at 9 a.m., weather permitting.
This event will be held rain or shine. Lunch is included.
Funding for this project was provided by the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund as recommended by the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR). The Trust Fund is a permanent fund constitutionally established by the citizens of Minnesota to assist in the protection, conservation, preservation, and enhancement of the state’s air, water, land, fish, wildlife, and other natural resources.

This program is for farmers and those who work with farmers, with or without cover crop experience, and anyone else who would like to learn more about cover crops.
