City Nature Challenge - Theodore Wirth Park

Saturday, April 27

multi-generation family hiking

The City Nature Challenge encourages people of all ages to get outside and document urban nature using the iNaturalist website and mobile app.

This year, almost 150 cities across the world will compete to see who can make the most observations, find the most species and engage the most participants. Come celebrate the City Nature Challenge by recording what you see at Theodore Wirth Park.

In partnership with the Loppet Foundation, UMN Extension staff will be on-site assisting with aquatic plant surveys, invertebrate sampling and nature hikes. Submit your observations and enter in a drawing to win prizes.
