We dig bugs
We dig bugs is a weekly summer program where youth learn about insects and entomology. You will catch and release insects, build models, explore the environment, learn about metamorphosis and life cycles, and much more.
This program is sponsored by Carver County 4-H and is funded in part by the 4-H Helping Hands program.
Schedule
Kick-off night for youth and parents will be on Sunday, June 4, at 4 p.m. at the Carver County Public Works Building, 11360 Hwy 212 W, Cologne, MN 55322.
The rest of the sessions will be held 9-11 a.m. on the following dates at the Southview Elementary School in Waconia.
- Session 1 - June 5
- Session 2 - June 12
- Session 3 - June 19
- Session 4 - June 26
- Session 5 - July 10
- Session 6 - July 17
- Session 7 - July 24
- Session 8 - July 31
The last session will be a celebration at the Carver County Fair on Aug. 9, 9-11 a.m.
Audience
Carver County 4-H members in grades 3 and older.
