Learn quilting basics in this 6 week Learn to Quilt Club and create a lap quilt.

Get tips on choosing fabrics for your quilt top, batting, backing and binding.

You will make a completed lap quilt from start to finish creating and using 6 fat quarters.

Instruction is free, plan on spending approximately $40 for materials.

Sundays, 2-4:00 PM at the Extension Office, Cologne, except November 19 field trip.

November 19 - Field trip to pick out your supplies. Meet at Extension Office at 1:00 PM or at the Shakopee JoAnn Fabrics at 1:30 PM.
December 10 - Cut and sew strips of your fabric.
January 14 - Cutting and sewing continue.
February 11 - Mark and sew fabric creating the squares.
March 17 - Design your pattern and sew the squares together.
April 7 - Binding, backing and finishing
