6 in 6 Quilt Club Details
Learn quilting basics in this 6 week Learn to Quilt Club and create a lap quilt.
Get tips on choosing fabrics for your quilt top, batting, backing and binding.
You will make a completed lap quilt from start to finish creating and using 6 fat quarters.
Instruction is free, plan on spending approximately $40 for materials.
Sundays, 2-4:00 PM at the Extension Office, Cologne, except November 19 field trip.

6 in 6 Quilt Club meeting dates:
- November 19 - Field trip to pick out your supplies. Meet at Extension Office at 1:00 PM or at the Shakopee JoAnn Fabrics at 1:30 PM.
- December 10 - Cut and sew strips of your fabric.
- January 14 - Cutting and sewing continue.
- February 11 - Mark and sew fabric creating the squares.
- March 17 - Design your pattern and sew the squares together.
- April 7 - Binding, backing and finishing
Audience
Carver County 4-H members who can operate a sewing machine and sew a straight line.
Minimum of 4, Maximum of 12.
Cost
Instruction and use of sewing machine is free. Cost of fabric, approximately $40.00
