Do you like LEGOs? Does your youth like LEGOs? Anoka County 4-H’s Robotics Team is looking for youth in grades 4-8 to join our FIRTST LEGO League team and adults to help coach. Join the team as youth blaze their own path while they grow, learn to work with others, incorporate the ideas of the team, overcome challenges, and work to solve a problem related to the arts through STEM. A unique part of this year’s challenge are the arts.
Under the mentorship of our returning veteran coach, youth and new coaches will be guided by the materials through FIRST as they design, build, program a robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS, and compete on a table-top playing field.

Dates: September 11 – December 18
Days/Times:
Sundays, 2 – 5 p.m., Select Build Sessions
Mondays, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., full team meetings (mandatory)
Where: Bunker Hills Activities Center, 550 Bunker Lake Blvd NW, Andover
Cost: $80 per youth (discount available for youth of coaches)
Competition Dates: Dec 2 & 3 (tentative)
